Football tournament Minsk
One of our football academy team participated in the football tournament in Minsk. In the capital of Belarus, our team was one of the thirteen teams to compete in the group of players born in 2006. The football tournament “Our future” took place from the 13 till the 15 July.
The total number of teams that participated in the tournament “Our future” turned out the be a record amount of more than seventy teams. Without exceptions all teams competed with great passion. To the end of the second day our team players where leading their table with eighteen points, with all matches won and the majority of them with big margins.
The third day of the tournament began for our team with the semi final against the “Krasnodar” team. “Krasnodar” appeared to be an excellent opponent as we weren’t able to beat them during regular playing time. After penalties our team won and entered the final of the tournament.
The final
In the final of the “Our future” tournament against FC Minsk. Our team opened the score after witch Minsk equalized. After that we were able to scored yet another two goals and we beat the team Minsk 3-1. With this great victory our academies team became champion of the tournament. Moreover our players were rewarded as best striker and defender in the tournament. The well structured training method of our young footballers in Holland yet again proved their success on the football field. The Dutch praised the organization of the tournament. The impression of all foreigners of Minsk was very positive, they liked everything.
